Beer has been enjoyed for centuries and is rooted in the very foundation of the modern world. But have you ever wondered how this liquid gold, this social lubricant and palate pleaser actually gets made? And what is the real history behind beer?

At Anspach & Hobday, we're re-opening the doors of our Brewery and inviting you on a journey with us. We'll take you on a tour of our brewing facility, where you can walk between the tanks and hear the story of craft beer and the science behind the sip. You'll get an insider’s look at what makes Anspach & Hobday unique: the ingredients and techniques behind our beers, the story and craft of London Black, and the full production process from mash to keg.

Our Brewery Tours are currently once a month and hosted by our very own qualified Beer Sommelier, Helen or one of the Anspach & Hobday brewing team!

This is the perfect tour for beginners who are keen to know more about the brewing experience and also seasoned hop fanatics.

These sessions usually run for 1 hour and 30 minutes however we always recommend setting aside a little longer to allow for questions for our experts & more beers in the taproom afterwards!

How do I get there?

We are located at Unit 11 Valley Point Industrial Estate, CR0 4WP, a short walk from Therapia Lane Tram Stop

What time do the Tours start?

Our tours start promptly at 12pm, so we ask our guests to arrive no later that 11:45am

Is there an age restriction?

There sure is! We operate a challenge 25 Policy, so if you’re lucky enough to look under 25 please make sure you bring with you a government form of identification

Are under 18’s allowed?

As much as we would love to educate the next generation of beer lovers, unfortunately we cannot have babies or young children in the brewery.

Do you do group or private tours?

What is your cancellation policy?

A full refund will be given 48 hours before your chosen tour date. After this time we are unable to provide refunds.
