We’re Hiring: A Part-time Packaging Assistant
Anspach & Hobday makes traditional beer in a modern way. We are looking for a hard working, conscientious and passionate Part-time Packager to join our team.
This flexible 2-3 days role will be based at our brewing facility in Croydon (CR0 4WP) with a focus on the keg, cask and can packaging of beers. It will also entail helping our webshop team on fulfilment. The role is diverse and will involve working closely with the Production Manager, Daniel Gambino, and Head of Production, Paul Anspach. The role will largely fall within the working week, however some weekend work may be required and an early/late shift pattern may be employed to facilitate longer packaging runs.
This position is ideal for someone with prior packaging experience who is looking to develop and broaden their skillset. It will also suit someone looking to learn about the packaging industry who enjoys manual tasks and processes.
The role will involve:
Packaging of beer, including:
Setup & Close down
Kegging
Casking
Canning
Labelling
Accurate record keeping
Stock taking and management
Cleaning of packaging equipment and Fermentation Vessels
General cleaning and housekeeping of production and warehouse area
The ideal candidate:
Relevant working experience.
A passion for beer quality.
Enjoy record keeping, monitoring and attention to detail.
A keen interest in packaging and production methods.
A spirit of innovation and understanding of best practices.
Adaptability
Proven team working
A forklift license is desirable.
Proficiency in the use of pallet trucks and warehouse duties.
Please be aware that this is a physically demanding role, manual handling training will be provided.
Remuneration:
This is a part-time role of 8-24 hours per week. Remuneration: £13.85 ph.
